As I was drinking my coffee the other morning, I found myself studying the mug. Written in fanciful script across the side, it reads "Chaos Cordinator". It is honestly the most acurate job title I have ever had. So often we get caught up in the day to day. Being a momprenuer is a delicate balancing act of coordinating schedules and overlapping priorities. Work/life balance dosen't exist. Standard work hours start before the kids wake up and continue long after they are in bed with breaks through the day. My reality is Work/Life Intigration. It can be exhausing and overwhelming but it is also the most rewarding adeventure I could ever ask for. Throughout it all, I have developed habits and routines that allow me to, "have my cake and eat it to". I have woven intentional moments with my family into the fabric of our everyday lives. I work hard so, as a family, we can play harder. Today, I want to share one of the ways I am intentional in the summer!
The Kwasniak Summer Bucket List

This June we kicked off one of our favorite Kwasniak family traditions: our Summer Bucket List! We started this a few years ago when I was feeling like time was passing us by without taking a pause to enjoy it. My husband and I were trying to work, entertain the kids, and every week seemed like a different day camp or play date just to keep them busy. Then I came across a post on Pinterest with a printable Summer Bucket List. It was a brilliant way to make sure we were staying intentional with our family time and make the summer count! Now, every summer, we each get to choose 4 activities we want to do as a family creating a fun and eclectic list of 16 summer adventures. These do not need to be eleborate or expensive trips, but are meant to be moments when we are fully present for each other. In years past we have done beach days, s'mores, fishing and lemonade stands. This year's list includes catching fire flies, an outdoor movie night, paddle boarding, and ice cream for dinner. You can follow along with our adventure on my socials. I also encourage you to start a Summer Bucket List of your own! Click here for the printable that started it all!
