Lewis and Associates. They provide coaching to local business owners and professionals. I was asked to talk about how your personal brand and image can be your greatest asset. You can read it all yourself below!

Personal Brand

Your personal brand starts with you. How you dress, speak, show up, and feel about yourself directly impacts how clients see your business. When your outward image aligns with your brand and you feel confident in your own skin, you communicate better, attract the right people, and build trust faster. Confidence isn’t cosmetic, it’s a powerful business tool that fuels visibility, connection, and growth. Here’s the thing, when you’re a business owner, you are your brand. Your clients aren’t just buying your product or service, they’re buying you. The way you show up, speak, and even what you wear all play a role in how people connect with your business. And the truth is, how you feel about yourself is absolutely reflected in how you run your business. Confidence isn’t just a nice bonus; it’s a game changer. It impacts how you show up, how you communicate, and how others see you. At Color Her Confident, I believe that when you feel good on the outside, it supports the confidence you already have inside. And that’s when your personal brand really shines.

First Impressions

Your personal brand starts the moment someone meets you, whether that’s in person, on social media, or through a quick scroll of your website. Before you ever say a word, your image tells a story. What does your image say? Your clothing, colors, and overall presence can instantly communicate things like approachability, creativity, trust, and professionalism. When your outer image matches the message you want to send, people feel that alignment and they connect with you faster. That’s why I love bringing color analysis and personal style into the conversation. The colors you wear should not only look amazing on you but also reflect your brand’s personality. If your business is bold and inspiring, your wardrobe should echo that same energy. If your brand is warm and approachable, your style should feel inviting and authentic. It’s all connected and when it clicks, people notice.

Confidence is the Secret Ingredient

Here’s the truth: you can have the best offer, the best logo, and the best website but if you don’t feel confident showing up as the face of your brand, none of that matters. Confidence changes everything. It affects your body language, the way you talk about your work, and how you connect with others. When you feel like your best self, when your outfit feels “so you,” your makeup enhances your features, and you’re not second-guessing how you look, you naturally carry yourself differently. I’ve seen it time and time again. Once clients discover the colors and styles that truly fit who they are, something shifts. They stop hiding, start showing up more consistently, and their businesses grow because they’re showing up as their most confident and authentic selves. Confidence isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being comfortable and authentic. It’s not vanity. It’s visibility.

A Confident Brand Attracts Business

When you show up confidently, people take notice. You speak with more ease, you attract clients who value what you offer, and you naturally create trust. Confidence is contagious, it draws people in. And when your personal style and brand presence reflect who you truly are, everything feels aligned. Your confidence doesn’t just show up in person either. It carries through in your photos, videos, and how you show up online. Your image tells your story before you even speak so make sure it’s telling the story you want to share.

Building Confidence from the Outside In

Here’s what I tell every client: when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel it, you own it. Your personal brand should reflect the best, most authentic version of you. The one that’s ready to be seen, valued, and remembered. So if you’ve been holding back or second-guessing your image, consider this your sign to invest in yourself. Because when you show up with confidence, everything about your business grows stronger.

Final Thought

Your business can’t shine if you’re hiding behind self-doubt. Confidence is what turns a small business into a standout brand. When you know who you are and you’re proud to show it, that’s when the magic happens.

Because confidence isn’t just beautiful… it’s good for business.

Written in fanciful script across the side, it reads "Chaos Cordinator". It is honestly the most acurate job title I have ever had. So often we get caught up in the day to day. Being a momprenuer is a delicate balancing act of coordinating schedules and overlapping priorities. Work/life balance dosen't exist. Standard work hours start before the kids wake up and continue long after they are in bed with breaks through the day. My reality is Work/Life Intigration. It can be exhausing and overwhelming but it is also the most rewarding adeventure I could ever ask for. Throughout it all, I have developed habits and routines that allow me to, "have my cake and eat it to". I have woven intentional moments with my family into the fabric of our everyday lives. I work hard so, as a family, we can play harder. Today, I want to share one of the ways I am intentional in the summer!

We started this a few years ago when I was feeling like time was passing us by without taking a pause to enjoy it. My husband and I were trying to work, entertain the kids, and every week seemed like a different day camp or play date just to keep them busy. Then I came across a post on Pinterest with a printable Summer Bucket List. It was a brilliant way to make sure we were staying intentional with our family time and make the summer count! Now, every summer, we each get to choose 4 activities we want to do as a family creating a fun and eclectic list of 16 summer adventures. These do not need to be eleborate or expensive trips, but are meant to be moments when we are fully present for each other. In years past we have done beach days, s'mores, fishing and lemonade stands. This year's list includes catching fire flies, an outdoor movie night, paddle boarding, and ice cream for dinner. You can follow along with our adventure on my socials. I also encourage you to start a Summer Bucket List of your own!
